APRIL! :-)

Pretty name. It was the month that we found out we were having a baby but it is not the name we chose.

Matti

Matti is very cute, Mattie is Aunt Cheryl's middle name, but they used it for one of Mackenzie's middle names so we're not using that name.

My dear friend named her baby Aubry, funny that's first on your list! Her son's name ended up being the number one choice that year, too. I like Sofia but would have spelled it Sophia instead. It seems like Abbie comes up every time but since we named one of the baby dolls Abbie, that has helped curb the need. Not to mention EVERYONE is naming their daughters Abbie right now. Of course, there is sweet Diana, but no we didn't choose that one either. Great guesses but none of them are correct.

These are my guesses for now...

Jenna
Jesca

Does the name have a normal spelling or unique?
Is it fairly common or unusual?

No, no and I think I'll have to give the answer to your other questions as future hints. :) Nice suggestions though!

Here are more guesses from Ruthe:

Aspen
Grace!
Apple
Bella
Allie
Gemma
Darcy

I need more clues...

Nice guesses. I have a rule: only one name per immediate-extended family. So, Grace is not it, even though we like it, due to cousin Grace. Another rule. No fruit. :) Apple is not it and you may as well eliminate any thoughts of Nectarine, Apricot or Cumquat, too, even though those aren't 5 letters long.

You do have one success, though! Bella is one of her middle names. It means beautiful and it was chosen from the very beginning, once we knew she was a girl. Nice job and hang in there, there is another clue coming tomorrow.

Diana is getting serious about guessing now...
Adela
Alexa
Amber
Anise
Ariel (Victoria's choice)
Clare(a)
Daisy

I got it.... Micah!

Clare has actually been on the list several times but I think I'd spell it Claire. Either way we didn't use it this time. We do like the Little Mermaid but did not choose Ariel either. The other names are pretty, but none of them are correct. Nice trying.

Dear friends count in the immediate-extended family rule and we have friends with a son named Micah. I do have to say, if it would have been a boy, I would have considered bending the rule for the name Micah.

Am i too late to guess the baby name yet? I'm going to guess the name Olivia because thats the one I use from time to time for fun. I loved the actress, Olivia DeHaviland as a kid and Yvonne DeCarlo and Maureen O'Hara but Olivia is the only name with an "I" and an "A"

I love the name Olivia but since the meanings of the name means so much to me and Olivia means something like Olive Grove or something, I just couldn't bring myself to do it. Plus a good friend named their daughter Olivia. So, no, it's not Olivia.
